Shift Energy, LLC of Biddeford Me is very pleased to announce the recent award of a Design/Build 40 collector solar hot water system at the Sugar River Mills apartments building in Claremont, NH.

The project will be designed and built by Shift Energy in the fall of 2011 in conjunction with an extensive ongoing energy retrofit to the facility.

The system once completed will be able to provide over 2,500 gallons of hot water to the facility daily during the summer months, at temperatures sometimes above the requirements of the building. The solar hot water project will be integrated to pre-heat a new propane fired hot water heating system.
